I just thought it’s in bad taste to use someone’s FLOSS software whilst calling them slurs. Alternatives exist which would be more aligned ideologically with OP’s beliefs, that’s all.
I don’t know if I’d really call Tankie a slur just because “tankies” don’t use the term. That’s like saying Thatcherite, carpet bagger, TERF or brownshirt are slurs. You may not identify with the term but we have a long way to go before its a slur.
